THE SAFE SIDE OF FLASH POINT TESTING
The ERAFLASH flash point tester series adheres to the Continuously Closed Cup flash point standards of ASTM D6450, ASTM D7094, and IP 620, with an ASTM round robin test demonstrating no statistical bias and confirming the interchangeability of ASTM D7094 with the D93 Pensky Martens method. Since 2013, ASTM D7094 has been officially recognized in ASTM fuel specifications.
ERAFLASH: The Safe Side of Flash Point Testing
The ERAFLASH flash point tester conducts measurements in complete accordance with the Continuously Closed Cup flash point testing standards, namely ASTM D6450, ASTM D7094, and the European equivalent IP620. Notably, ASTM D7094 exhibits no statistical bias when compared to the prior ASTM D93 Pensky Martens method. With a minimal sample volume of only 2 ml, this analyzer employs an electric arc to ignite the sample vapor, ultimately determining the flash point by monitoring pressure changes within the closed cup. This ensures an exceptionally safe and straightforward flash point testing experience.
ERAFLASH S10: The Automated Side of Flash Point Testing
Eralytics’ ERAFLASH S10 flash point autosampler integrates the utmost safety into a 10-position autosampling system, making it well-suited for unsupervised measurements utilizing the inherently safe CCCFP methods, including ASTM D7094, ASTM D6450, and IP620. The ERAFLASH S10 initiates the vapor ignition of a 1-2 ml sample within an enclosed chamber and records measurements based on the subsequent pressure rise.
ERAFLASH LT: The Cool Side of Flash Point Testing
A notable addition to eralytics’ lineup of flash point testers is the ERAFLASH LT, which builds upon the exceptional capabilities of the ERAFLASH model and introduces enhanced advantages for rapid flash point testing at lower temperatures. Utilizing a stacked Peltier design, it enables measurements in strict accordance with ASTM D7094 and IP620, even at oven temperatures as chilly as -40°C. Notably, it boasts significantly swifter cooling rates than any other instrument currently available in the market.
