										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Guaranteeing full compliance with ASTM D5452 and IP 423 requirements, this simple yet safe extraction apparatus is ideal for the gravimetric determination of the particulate matter present in aviation turbine and other fuels. Determination of particulate content in fuel is critical in preventing filter plugging and other operational problems. Test samples are filtered through a test membrane and a control membrane via vacuum. The difference in mass determines the contaminant level per unit volume.</p>
<p>Designed to avoid fuel leakage, the sturdy aluminum support structure adjusts to bring the inverted filling flask into closer proximity to the filter funnel system. Connected via vacuum tube to the filling flask, the funnel system safely draws test samples through the membrane filter into the filter flask. This dependable particulate contamination filtration apparatus comes complete with all implements necessary for particulate extraction, including 5-liter stainless steel filling flask with leak-proof rubber security and dispensing stoppers, a 5-liter filtering flask, a vacuum tube attachment, and a flask bonding and grounding cable for the elimination of electrostatic buildup.</p>
