The ERACOUNT XS requires only 100 ml of sample fluid and can begin analysis immediately, with results displayed in real time on the device’s intuitive interface. The laser particle counter detects every particle that passes the sensor. From sample preparation to final results, the process is optimized for speed, supporting rapid decisions in critical operational environments. Connecting the device to other ERALYTICS units with a USB cable enables the option to see more result parameters.

What makes the ERACOUNT XS unique is its combination of high precision, compact design, and ease of use. An automated rinsing procedure prevents cross-contamination when multiple samples are analyzed sequentially. The device can be placed beside a main analyzer and connected via USB, and once powered on it is automatically recognized as an external particle-counting module. For stand-alone operation it uses a single button, and measurements are fully automated.

An automatic digital flow rate determination provides accurate measurement results. The PAMAS S50 counts particles with high resolution in eight particle size channels, available via the data interface for report in real time to the PC.

The PAMAS HX volumetric sensor is calibrated to 4–70 µm(c) per ISO 11171, reading triple codes from 0/0/0 to 22/22/22 per ISO 4406 at a maximum particle concentration of 24,000 p/mL. Data transfers over a standard RS 485 interface, with an optional analog 4–20 mA interface available for condition monitoring.

A 32-bit high-performance CPU with 4096 internal channels sorts particle counts across 8 channels, while the PAMAS HCB-LD-50/50 volumetric sensor covers a dynamic range of 4–70 µm(c) per ISO 11171 and 1–100 µm per ISO 4402. Results transfer over an RS232 port at 57600 baud, and the autosampling software is individually developed for each customer’s application, adapted to their laboratory infrastructure and existing LIMS.
