]]> The Evaporation Gum Bath Air and Steam Jet is fully compliant with methods ASTM D381 IP131 IP540 EN26246. This test method covers the determination of the existent gum content of aviation fuels, and the gum content of motor gasoline’s or other volatile distillates in their finished form, (including those containing alcohol and ether type oxygenates and deposit control additives see Note 7 for additional information) at the time of test.

The Evaporation Bath is equipped with 18/8 stainless steel jacket in aluminium block, 5 concentric pre-heating coils with 5 wells connected to the central collector with socket for steam measurer, 5 mobile jets, insulated air gap. Its built-in steam over heater with regulator and condensate discharge valves are designed to help determine the gum content of gasoline. Heating and overheater are controlled by a digital thermoregulator PID with an over-temperature alarm.
