This corrosion testing apparatus is ideal for determining the corrosiveness of industrial aromatic hydrocarbons to a copper strip, the results of which are invaluable in setting specifications, for use in internal quality control, and for providing an indication of the presence of certain corrosive substances, such as acidic or sulfuric compounds, that may damage pipelines and other equipment.</p>
<p>Designed with accuracy and efficiency in mind, this durable, 26-liter stainless steel hydrocarbons corrosion bath is equipped with a constant digital PID micro-processor for the ultimate in temperature regulation, as well as an overtemperature alarm for operator safety. The liquid indicator, visible from the outside of the instrument, allows for easy fill without overflow while the internal light indicator alerts to low liquid levels. The stainless steel electric heating component allows for the quick boiling of liquids while the cooling coil provides improved control near ambient temperatures. The digital thermoregulator PID temperature control maintains 0.1C and the motorized agitator delivers consistent mechanized stirring for the most stable of testing conditions.</p>
<p>This sturdy, easy-to- operate hydrocarbons corrosion Bath comes available in 2 or 4-position models for the simultaneous testing of multiple samples, covers working temperatures ranging from ambient to 150C (302 F), and features an insulated double wall for the maximum in heat conservation during corrosion testing.</p>
