<p>The Silver Digital Detection Imaging (AgDDI) device accurately and robustly rates the corrosion on silver coupons without the need for operating analyses known to be unreliable. The four-step automated VISION algorithm rates the silver corrosion on a scale of 0-4 defined by the ASTM. The AgDDI standardizes the process of silver corrosion testing reliably, ensuring fuels stay within acceptable limits.</p>
<p>In a small and sleek design, silver coupons undergo induced corrosion and then the silver strip is inserted into the AgDDI for determination and rating. The AgDDI works by measuring each pixel on both sides of the silver strip for sulfur-induced blackening and rating the coupon accordingly based on the scale from 0 (no corrosion) to 4 (significant blackening).</p>
<p>This device is fully compliant with ASTM 7691 making it the ideal unit for R&amp;D, QC, and many more applications.</p>

<p>The Iron Digital Detection Imaging (FeDDI) sets a new benchmark in corrosion testing by combining cutting-edge technology with ease of use. The problem that laboratories often face when testing iron bullets in compliance with ASTM and NACE standards is that they tend to over-rate the samples by considering the entire corrosion cluster as a corroded area, which is inaccurate. Within those areas, some parts are not corroded. The FeDDI system can detect and show corrosion results in percentage with an accuracy of ±0.01%. Additionally, at lower ratings of A and B, manually counting the corroded area is a tedious task, but FeDDI performs this process automatically and efficiently. Its bias-free operation ensures consistent, and reliable results, making it an essential tool for laboratories and industries focused on quality control and compliance. By utilizing advanced optics and algorithms, FeDDI revolutionizes iron corrosion testing.</p>
<p>Designed to comply with ASTM D665, ASTM D7548, and NACE TM0172 standards, FeDDI eliminates subjective visual assessments with a high-resolution camera and fully automated process. In less than 6 minutes, 546 photos of the sample will be gathered to create an image with a pixel size of 2.8 million. A four-step algorithm identifies and rates corrosivity, providing digital documentation and classification.</p>

This compact TAN titrator conforms to ASTM D664 for determination of acidic constituents in petroleum products, lubricants and transformer insulating oils.</p>
<p>Oils continually react with atmospheric oxygen to produce organic oxidation products that are acidic in nature. At ambient temperature, this reaction is very slow and has little effect upon oil conditions.</p>
<p>At the elevated temperatures that exist within an operating engine, reaction rates are much higher. Elevated operating temperatures can generate high levels of weak organic acids. They cause increased oil viscosity and can deposit as lacquers on hot surfaces.</p>
<p><strong>Quality measurement, thorough insight.</strong></p>
<p>Total Acid Number or TAN is the measure of both the weak organic and strong inorganic acids present in oil. It is applicable to gearbox, gas engine, gas turbine and hydraulic lubricants. It is an important quality measurement of crude oil. The TAN value indicates to the crude oil refinery the potential of corrosion problems.</p>
<p>Total Acid Number is an analytical test to determine the deterioration of lubricants. The more acidic a lubricant is, the further its degradation has proceeded.</p>
<p>Theoretically, the Total Acid Number (TAN) is the amount of potassium hydroxide in milligrams that is needed to neutralize the acids in one gram of oil.</p>
<p><strong>Accurate value assessment.</strong></p>
<p>TAN value can be measured by potentiometric titration with this Micro TAN titrator. The sample is dissolved in toluene and propanol with a little water and titrated with alcoholic potassium hydroxide. A glass electrode and reference electrode is immersed in the sample and connected to the instrument. The meter reading (in millivolts) is plotted against the volume of titrant.</p>
