The stacked Peltier design allows measurements according to ASTM D7094 with oven temperatures as low as -40 C, and the cooling speed of the instrument was increased by approximately 35%. With ERAFLASH LT, simple low-temperature flashpoint testing is possible without the need to cool the equipment with dry ice or other substances.

The ERAFLASH LT flash point tester is also equipped with a coolant valve that automatically shuts the coolant flow off if not needed. This helps to eliminate condensation of humidity on the cooler. Ice formation on the oven surface during the cool-down period is prevented by using a cooling cup that shields the surface from the ambient air.

An automatic digital flow rate determination provides accurate measurement results. The PAMAS S50 counts particles with high resolution in eight particle size channels, available via the data interface for report in real time to the PC. The triple code according to the cleanliness class standard ISO 4406 for the particle sizes > 4 m(c), > 6 m(c) and > 14 m(c) is indicated on the instrument display.

More than just providing the standard ISO code, PAMAS S50 is cost-effective and measures the particle number in eight different channels while giving early alerts. Also, it may serve as an interface for condition monitoring transferring four analog signals (4-20 mA) to a PC.

The four-step automated VISION algorithm rates the silver corrosion on a scale of 0-4 defined by the ASTM. The AgDDI standardizes the process of silver corrosion testing reliably, ensuring fuels stay within acceptable limits.

In a small and sleek design, silver coupons undergo induced corrosion and then the silver strip is inserted into the AgDDI for determination and rating.
