CRUDE OIL VAPOR PRESSURE TESTING AT ITS BEST
Crude oil vapor pressure testing is imperative when planning the transportation of crude oils through different climates. ERAVAP Crude is the solution for crude oil vapor pressure testing. This oil vapor pressure tester is expertly tuned for measuring live or dead crude according to standards such as ASTM D6377, IP481, and GOST 52340. Curve measurements cover a temperature range from -20 °C to 120 °C and a pressure range from 0 kPa to 1,000 kPa with excellent precision and measuring stability.
ERAVAP Crude comes with a pressure-tight connection inlet for quick fit connectors. These connectors make connecting floating piston cylinders (FPC) incredibly simple. The use of these cylinders is vital for measuring live crude oils still containing high amounts of volatiles. If such crudes are measured from an open bottle, the measured vapor pressure of this crude will be biased to the real vapor pressure since all volatiles within the crude will be lost.
ERAVAP Crude oil vapor pressure tester is also equipped with an inlet filter guarding the measurement cell against any sediments contained in the crude oil. With its built-in shaker motor, it measures in full compliance with ASTM D6377.
*To to improve measurement procedures to maximize safety in crude oil transportation, ERAVAP manufacturer Eralytics closely cooperates with Canadian Crude Quality Technical Association (CCQTA) and the American Crude Oil Quality Association (COQA), a partnership that resulted in the development of a device capable of measuring crude oil at a V/L ratio as low as 0.02/1.
