A high resolution camera with sophisticated optics provides higher precision machining and motors for the rotation and analysis of the copper strips. Copper digital detection imaging is a simplified process requiring minimal steps that effect maximum efficiency allowing you to leave unattended.
Our CuDDI dentifies exact levels of corrosiveness present in petroleum products through a 4-step automated vision algorithm and classifi cation process, eliminating operator bias. Results are digitally recorded and are seamlessly integrated with LIMS software.
CuDDI is fully compliant with ASTM D130, D1838, providing both standard method and refined methodology.
CuDDi’s easy-to-use touch screen driven software provides simplified operation and results access for end users at all levels.

The Copper Digital Detection Imaging (CuDDI) device redefines copper corrosion testing by integrating high-resolution camera technology, AI-driven image processing, and algorithms to eliminate manual guesswork and operator bias. CuDDI detects corrosivity levels of products in compliance with ASTM standards and provides a solution for laboratories aiming for efficient and accurate results.

The CuDDI's innovative and patented design combines optical analysis, artificial intelligence, and a unique lightbox to deliver consistent and precise results, reducing subjective interpretation. A four-step algorithm identifies and rates corrosivity, providing digital documentation and classification.

The CuDDI achieves accurate ratings in under 90 seconds — less than 30 seconds per side — saving time while maintaining reliability. It generates detailed, zoomable images of both sides of copper strips, with a summary table of results, and optional manual overrides for expert verification. With a compact design of 14 × 12 × 11 in (35 × 30 × 27 cm), the CuDDI is ideal for laboratory environments.
