Key Features

ASTM compliant fuel testing icon
ASTM
CompliantFully compliant with ASTM D6450, D7094, and D5808, providing both standard method and refined methodology
Stopwatch with a green-to-red gauge and the needle in the red zone, representing fast test turnaround
QuickQuick: Innovative PBT – Peltier Boost Technology TM, a patented eralytics innovation, allows for previously unmatched heating and cooling rates. Paired with a conveniently small sample size, these analyzers allow turnaround times that are significantly shorter than those offered by all other instruments available on the market
Multi-position autosampler icon
Optional
AutosamplerOptional Autosampler: A 10-position autosampler can be added on to maximize testing volume and time
Thermometer between a blue downward arrow and a red upward arrow, representing a wide temperature control range
Temperature ControlTemperature Control: Standalone control range of 0 °C–200 °C (32 °F–390 °F) with no external cooling required. Down to -25 °C (-13 °F) with water cooling or chiller, and up to 420 °C (788 °F) with the optional High Temperature Module (EF01-HTM)
Icon of a hand touching a color tablet touchscreen, representing immediate on-screen display of analyzer results
Touch
ScreenTouch Screen: All eralytics analyzer results are displayed immediately after the test on their large and user-friendly color touch screen
Hand touching a control surface beside a green badge showing the number 10, representing user programmable stored methods
Programmable MethodsProgrammable Methods: Operators can create and save their own test methods. Any method saved to memory can be recalled and run directly from the instrument
Broom with a green checkmark icon, representing reduced cleaning and maintenance requirements
Easy
CleanEasy Clean: Cleaning after measurements often took time and involved maintenance activities or replacing sensors or other elements of the chamber assembly. Innovative CPT – Contamination Prevention Technology TM, a combination of an advanced electrode protection and self-cleaning ignition system, reduces cleaning and maintenance to an absolute minimum
Icon of four laboratory test tubes filled with gasoline, diesel, biofuel and crude oil samples, representing multi-fuel analysis
Measures
All FuelsMeasures All Fuels: Specifies fuels, analyzes fresh and used lubricating oils, and tests bitumen. The small sample volume also renders it ideal for more expensive samples such as flavors and fragrances, cosmetics, paints and varnishes, or even hazardous waste
Red alarm bell with sound waves icon, representing safety alarms and automatic shutoff
Safety
AlarmsSafety Alarms: All alarm messages are stored in the database together with the result. The instrument automatically shuts off and the problem is reported by buzzer and display

Introducing the ERAFLASH S10: augmented ultra-wide range flash point tester maximized for high-volume autosampling

The ERAFLASH S10 is a compact, safe, and reliable flash point tester covering an incredibly wide temperature range with a built-in 10-port autosampler. With a continuously closed cup design paired with unparalleled thermoregulation using Peltier elements, the ERAFLASH S10 ensures maximized safety and efficiency while subsequently testing up to ten samples in one run.

Sample per test

Continuously closed cup design

With the distinct capability to incorporate both a high temperature and a low temperature module, this singular analyzer can cover a temperature range from −25 °C to 420 °C with only 1–2 mL of sample per test. To complete a test, the device produces an electric arc in a closed chamber to determine at which temperature the arc ignites the sample vapor, which is measured by the pressure change observed in ignition. The notable feature of the ERAFLASH S10 is the built-in autosampler, making it the ideal solution for unattended flash point testing.

Compliance / Correlation

Standards-ready.
High-volume capable.

ASTM D6450 · ASTM D7094

This device is fully compliant with ASTM D6450 and D7094 with a diverse array of correlation methods, making it the ideal solution for almost any flash point determination in both laboratory and on-the-go environments.

  1. 01

    Temperature Range

−25 °C to 420 °C (−13 °F to 788 °F). Stand-alone range is 0 °C to 200 °C; the low end requires external cooling and the high end the optional High Temperature Module.

  2. 02

    Flash Point + Flash/No Flash

Flash point corrected to sea level is displayed in units of temperature. In correlation tests: Flash versus No Flash determinations.

  3. 03

    Pressure Change + Temperature

Largest pressure difference during the flash test. Live, expected, and corrected temperatures.

  4. 04

    Unattended Throughput

Ten loaded samples in approximately 45 minutes, depending on temperature range.

Applications of the ERAFLASH S10

  • Safety characteristic determination
  • Transportation regulations compliance
  • Appropriate storage requirements
  • Aids in fire protection and investigation
