- Physically inspection the unit
- Check all the parts/components
- Record the software version of the machine. If necessary update the machine
- Inquire with customer about ASTM methods or any known issue
- Run baseline samples
- Perform cleaning of the machine and parts
- Perform temperature, pressure, flow, RPM, resistance, etc….. calibrations were applicable
- Run standards to verify the calibration when available
- Provide service report, calibration certificate, and calibration sticker
