Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by inventory, processing shipments, and maintaining a safe work environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.Responsibilities
- Process and fulfill shipments, ensuring accurate handling of domestic and international orders while complying with shipping regulations.
- Verify weights, dimensions, and addresses to prevent shipping errors and additional fees.
- Perform inventory transfers, ensure proper labeling, and maintain accurate stock records in QuickBooks/ERP.
- Pack shipments securely using appropriate materials and conduct quality checks to ensure professional packaging.
- Track shipments and update tracking details in QuickBooks/ERP, ensuring customers are informed on order status.
- Compare shipping rates to find the best balance between cost and timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, following safety protocols and company policies.
- Participate in team meetings to improve workflow and resolve operational challenges.
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse operations.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- Familiarity with pallet jacks and basic warehouse equipment
- Experience with FedEx, UPS, and LTL shipments
- Ability to work in a pick and pack operation
- Computer literate with the ability to update records and process orders
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and CRM/ERP for invoicing and packing lists is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume workflows with accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-moving environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
