Introducing the StoneDDI: Diffuser stone calibration and verification system
The Stone Digital Detection Imaging (StoneDDI) device verifies the status of new and in-use diffuser stones. The StoneDDI can calibrate both metal and ceramic cylindrical and spherical diffusers ensuring the stone is within bounds for related testing.
With tightly controlled conditions of airflow, the StoneDDI calculates and determines the pore diameter and permeability.
The StoneDDI operates in a two-test position design to determine the characteristics of the diffuser stone. With a built-in vision system, even the smallest of bubbles are captured for reliable determination of the stone parameters.
This device is fully compliant with ASTM D892, D6082, and E128-99 making it the ideal unit for R&D, QC, and many more applications.
Applications of the StoneDDI Include:
