The Abel Flash Point apparatus is available in four models to meet all your flash point testing needs:
• Model 820 – Manual Abel Flash Point with gas ignition
• Model 820/IE – Manual Abel Flash Point with electric ignition
Designed to last, the manual Abel flash point apparatuses feature an anti-acid epoxidyc coat, preventing corrosive damage to the instruments. Samples are heated quickly and steadily from ambient to 70 ºC via electronic regulator, and from -30º to 70ºC with external unit. These apparatuses come equipped with calibrated brass crucible, cover for either gas or electrical ignition via manual-glide opening, motorized agitator, and chromium-plated copper air and water bath. Additionally, these Abel flash point testers feature an internal cooling fluid circulation coil with external connection for quick cooldown between test runs, because time is valuable.

The semi-automatic and automatic Abel flash point apparatuses come equipped with brass test cup and cover block. The advanced designs of these models feature an automatic temperature ramp, flash sensor, PT100A glass probe, electrical or gas ignition, peltier heating/cooling system, real time operating system (SDM software), network connection, remote control operation, high-resolution touch screen display, 500 test capacity memory, choice ºC or ºF display, and selection between three languages (English, French, and Italian).
