The durable stainless steel distillation unit features an inspection tempered window that can be openedfor increased visibility, as well as a sturdy sample flask support with external adjustment knob. It iscapable of testing petroleum products in distillation groups 0-4, a clear advantage over competitorsmodels designed for only groups 0-3. The cooling bath, also made of stainless steel, contains a nickel-plated condenser tube, a glossy black PVC cover for operator safety, external connections for samplecooling via water circulation, and a drain valve for easy cleanup.

This unit contains dual electric heating units with electronic regulation, and is designed to heatsample temperatures quickly and steadily from ambient to 400C (distillation group 0-4).
Model 990/R Standard refrigerated distillation unit
This model contains a single electronic heating unit with electronic regulation, for heating sampletemperatures quickly and steadily from ambient to 400C (distillation group 0-4), and a refrigeratedheating/cooling bath for maintaining temperatures between 0C and 60C.
