The simple, smart design of Ayalytical Instruments’ Dean & Stark distillation system ensures compliance with ASTM D95, ASTM D244, EN 1428, and IP74, for determining the water content up to 25% of petroleum products, tars, emulsified asphalts, and other bituminous materials via distillation method. This labor-reducing Dean & Stark distillation apparatus works to easily extract vaporized water and oil from the test solvent for later condensation, collection, and measurement.
Unparalleled in performance, the durable Dean & Stark distillation apparatus contains an electric mantel heater with steel rod and clamp for increased stability during the quick and safe boiling of liquids, a 500 ml graduated flask for accurate measurement of collected fluids, a 400mm Liebig condenser for the quick cooling and condensing of liquids, and a graduated 5 ml receiver with conical type A” graduated bottom tube (0- 1.0:0.1) with standard 29/32 tapered joints. Additional accessories are available in various measurements to suit all your testing needs.
